Yellow Moon Auctions offers online consignment auctions for select antiques, collections, and estate items that may benefit from wider exposure and competitive bidding.

We take a curated approach and accept a limited number of consignments per auction.

What Works Well at Auction

Auction consignment is best suited for:

  • Antiques and vintage items

  • Small collections

  • Select estate pieces

  • Items that perform well with competitive bidding

All consignments are reviewed and approved prior to acceptance.

How Auction Consignment Works

  1. Items are reviewed and approved

  2. Accepted items are photographed, cataloged, and listed

  3. Auctions are conducted online through HiBid

  4. Payment is issued after the auction concludes and buyer payments have cleared

There are no upfront fees and no fees for unsold items.

General Auction Terms

  • A 15% buyer’s premium is added to all winning bids

  • Seller commission is based on total hammer price per consignor

  • Auctions generally start at $2 with no reserves, except in rare instances approved in advance

  • Indiana sales tax is collected on taxable purchases unless a valid exemption applies

Pickup & Shipping

Most items require local pickup. Shipping may be offered at the Auctioneer’s discretion for select items when it is expected to increase buyer participation. When shipping is offered, all shipping and handling costs are paid by the buyer and fulfilled through a third-party service.
